Amber Kohls is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. She has dedicated her nursing career to serving adults and the geriatric population across a range of psychiatric settings.

Amber has experience working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals supporting individuals with complex mental health conditions. She also brings a strong foundation in medical and behavioral health gained through travel nursing across multiple specialty units in Pennsylvania. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based treatment with collaborative care, working closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that support long-term wellness and recovery.

Amber received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology from Bloomsburg University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University. Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys walking her dog and experimenting with new recipes.
