Sports Emergency Medical Responders (SEMRs) have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS resources to arrive. The SEMR training gives participants the skills and confidence required to perform immediate sideline lifesaving care to critically ill athletes. This evidence-informed, hybrid course provides the necessary tools for the sports medicine professional to handle traumatic emergencies. This course meets and exceeds the requirements set by the National EMS Education Scope of Practice for an Emergency Medical Responder. The program is approved for 50 contact hours 's by the NATA BOC and APTA ABPTS.

Responding to in-home critical emergencies requires a well-structured approach aimed at minimizing harm, protecting lives and property, and ensuring a swift return to normalcy. This (8 contact-hour) course provides the participants the skills and confidence required to perform immediate lifesaving care to critically ill home-bound individuals.
Foundations of Dry Needling is a two-part (80 Contact-hour) course featuring an in-depth understanding of the theory and practice of dry needling, trigger points, and myofascial pain. This course also offers a review of adverse events, Bloodborne Pathogen Standards relative to dry needling, and an introduction to relevant pain sciences. Participants will learn superficial and deep dry needling techniques for the treatment of craniofacial, cervicothoracic, lumbar and extremity musculoskeletal conditions. Participants will review and gain further insight of the anatomy, function, and dry needling techniques for each of these muscles. Pre-Course content will be released 30-days prior to start of the course. Participants are expected to earn a minimum score of 80% or better on the online knowledge assessments in addition to having demonstrated safe needling competency to pass this course. This course is designed to meet state regulatory requirements.
This course is designed to enhance the management of a variety of musculoskeletal somatic conditions in athletes. The two-day (hybrid format (30 contact hours) evidence-based course will emphasize manual and manipulative therapy techniques including joint mobilization, muscle energy, neuro-mobilization, segmental stabilization, and high-velocity low-amplitude thrust techniques to the spine and the extremities.
This 8 contact-hour hands-on workshop is designed for Athletic Trainers seeking to strengthen practical clinical skills in suturing, phlebotomy, and intramuscular (IM) injection techniques. Participants will review relevant anatomy, indications, contraindications, equipment selection, and infection control standards while gaining guided practice in each procedure.
The suturing module covers wound assessment, suture materials, needle types, basic knot tying, and common closure techniques. The phlebotomy component focuses on vein selection, patient positioning, specimen handling, and strategies to minimize complications and patient discomfort. The intramuscular injection section reviews landmark identification, medication preparation, needle selection, and safe administration techniques.
Emphasis is placed on patient safety, evidence-based practice, and clinical confidence, with opportunities for skills demonstration and feedback. Upon completion, participants will be better prepared to competently perform these procedures within their scope of practice and in accordance with current professional standards.
